about

I actually had inspiration for this blog from other Mommy blogs. I love to write and tell stories so it seemed fitting to start a blog. I am very interested in how other people juggle life. How do you balance exercise, eating well, cleaning, running errands, staying on a budget, and keeping the family happy all at the same time? Mom's sure do wear a lot of hats.

I also really enjoy taking pictures of my 4 year old little girl, and spending time with family. I thought that a blog would be a good way to keep in touch and also keep me sane. Sometimes writing things down is a great way to purge the mind, and I feel like my mind is always bursting.

A little bit about me. {Tricia}

I was born in South Carolina but grew up in Sacramento, California with my parents, and brother Jeremy. I am 31 years old and work Full time for the State of California. I have been married for 4 years to Brian, and we have two lovely daughters. Anessa is my step-daughter, and Averie is my first born and the sweetest little girl I know. I really did get Lucky with her!If your having a bad day, she will fix it in a stitch. Just ask her to smile.

Brian and were married in 2010 in Santa Cruz, California. Our wedding was amazing! I am slightly bias of course. It was a good thing that it was so much fun because our first year of marriage was the rockiest year of my life. Let's just say that I think after 4 years we are finally recovering, it is just took time. Oh did I mention that I am not very patient. Instant gratification is the name of the game. I am working on it though. There are only aspects of my life that I get impatient so it is a work in progress.

I love to write and take photos. I also love shopping, reading, cooking, cleaning, and spending time with my family. Those seem to be things that most people say they love or like, but it's true. I love spending time with my Family and Friends.

I one day would love to be a stay at home mom. The day that I quit my full time job to stay home will be one of the happiest days of my life. But.... I am not holding my breath. Note: I said ONE of the happiest days. Not to dis-credit the day I got married, or had my daughter.

I am not very political. Although I have been following the news a little more lately. There is nothing like being in a great mood and turning on the television and watching depressing news coverage. I know what is going on out there and am not so benevolent that I don't want to at least be informed. I would appreciate if we can report some happy stuff every once and a while. I like hearing the good stuff too.

I have faith in a lot of things, but will probably keep any religious opinions off of the page. Merely to prevent any discouraging remarks. I write and take photos to be in a good mood, not to go on the defense and I do get offended easily.

Sports! If you had asked me 10 years ago if I would like to go to a baseball game or watch a two hour softball game, I think I would have told you that your crazy, and I will do something else. Here I am a huge Atlanta Braves fan and I watch a lot more than two hours of softball in a weekend. I enjoy most of it, sometimes sports can be stressful. Especially if it is your kid playing the game.Anessa plays softball for San Jose State University. After all of the hard work and sacrifices, playing softball helped Anessa to get college paid in full. Averie will not play a sport. She is going to be my musical baby. She loves books too so maybe she will be an Author, and inspire other children with Down Syndrome. The possibilities are endless.

That's a Little bit about me and my Wonderful Kind of Life.
