And there it is. I mean it is not glamorous, it's not special, or even pretty. It is however TRAGIC! Sorry it could not be of something cuter. But these days my Starbucks balance says it all.

Wordless Wednesday {Need I say more} wk 17

Is that not the most confusing title for a post ever! Man there is just way to much going on.

These pictures explain themselves. Who do you think is in charge? She is showing cousin Luke who is boss.

ps. So embarrassing, but that flower thing in the back round is a duvet cover.  We moved this past September and still have a few things left to do on our to do list. Curtains is one of them. The rod is sitting on the floor right in front of the the sliding door. I guess I should get on top of these things if I am going to take pictures.

Wordish Wednesday {18 months} wk16

Averie is technically 19 3/4 months old, but we just had her 18 month check up. She is doing fantastic. Her head is 18 inches {50 percentile}, she weighs 23 lbs {25 percentile}, and she is 33 inches long {75 percentile}. They are continuing to use a typical child growth chart, so these percentiles are based off of that. She has a ton of personality. She smiles a lot, loves to laugh, and enjoys being read to, and listening to music. She has just started to enjoy watching the Sprout channel. Her favorite shows are the Pajanimals, and Thomas the Train. She also watches Angelina, and Chloe's Closet. However she is not as interested in the actual show. She enjoys the opening music more.

She loves all types of food. She is using a fork, but would prefer to use her hands. I would say her favorite food is pasta. Especially Grandma's spaghetti sauce. She gobbles that all up.We give her fruit for dessert. Trying to keep her away from processed sugars. Dad likes to step in and give her ICECREAM though. 

Grammy takes Averie to My Gym, Music class, and the Library for story time. Averie loves being read to. She moves right up to the front row of story time and is very attentive. She also likes to touch the books. She gets visits from a speech therapist, her PT, and teacher, almost every week. She has grown really close to all of them. They are all like her family. I really appreciate all that they are doing for her. More blessings.

Averie goes to bed at about 7-7:30 every night. We have a pretty good routine. Dinner, bath, bottle {I know this is bad, she uses a cup throughout the day, bottles only come in to the picture at bedtime.} we watch some shows on Sprout, and then it is bedtime. I spoil her at night, I rock her to sleep. I know she is supposed to be learning to self soothe, but it is my only time with her after work. I take advantage of every minute. She is a great sleeper. She gets up around 6:30 every morning. Unless she is teething then she will usually get up once in the middle of the night. Super lucky there.

Speaking of teeth, my little girl has two front bottom teeth and one molar. Poor baby right. I am waiting for those two top teeth patiently.

What else......

Oh, she loves to throw her ball back and forth. She is standing independently, she can stand on her own, and stand from a squatting position. I swear it is only a matter of time before she starts walking. I am waiting patiently for that one too. I would love for her to be walking by Halloween. She is going to be a bumble bee, and boy is she going to be the cutest bumble bee. She loves to play with her older sister. Dad has been working hard all week, so their time has been cut short. When he gets home, generally I become invisible and she wants only Daddy. She is our love bug.

Wordless Wednesday {Bottle for Baby & Mommy} wk 15

Need I say more. My weeks have been long and tiring. My Husband and kids are the loves of my life, but they drain me until nothing is left. So... at the end of the night I feed Averie dinner, I grab something small. Then we both get bottles. Mommy a Pacifico and Averie a little 2 percent.

As busy as we have been lately I am surprised I have the energy to even grab a bottle opener, but I manage some how. *smiles*

This week is no different then the last three. Which you all would not know much about because I have been absent to the blogging world. I think I am all geared up to get back on the buggy. Just in time for Halloween. This will be the first year that I REALLY decorate. Should be so much fun. I promise that some better photos are coming too. These IPHONE pics are a little depressing.

Wordless Wednesday, The House! WK11

The new house that we are renting is a daunting task. It needs so much work. This weekend will be full of lots of painting fun! I say that sarcastically of course. We have to paint the whole house in 2 days, and I am a big ball of stress. The owner is having new carpet installed after we have completed our painting extravaganza, so it is important that we finish this weekend. After the painting is done we, I mean I have to clean. Cleaning is beyond necessary prior to moving in. I will not feel good about the house until I know I have gone through and cleaned every nook and crany. The previous renter was rough on the house to say the least. Thank goodness that the owner is changing out the carpet. I am a neat freak, so walking into a mess was not what I had in mind. So not only do I have to pack up the current house, and clean it, I have to move everything and clean the new house. I guess we got lucky in the respect that he is letting us move in a few weeks early. We lucked out there. Okay, enough of the complaining. It is just all very overwhelming.

So much for a Wordless Wednesday, this is a wordy Wednesday. I guess the pictures tell the rest of the story. No one likes moving. YUCK!

 I feel like my content lately has been so scattered. I have to figure out a way to make it seem valuable. What a weird thing to say, but it's how I feel.

Wordless Wednesday {Instant Smile WK5}

My week has been tough to say the least. There does not seem to be a break in challenges fo this girl or her family. I really feel like I have aged 29 more years. But there is one thing that makes me smile no matter what. Everytime, it never fails. When the day has gone nothing but wrong, this is what makes me forget it all.

Wordless Wednesday's {My BIRTHDAY! WK4}

It is my BIRTHDAY! I am 29 years old today. This will be the last year that I am officially in my twenties. Where has the time gone? What have I done so far? What is the plan for the future? I have a tendency to create lists for myself on my birthdays. Things I want to accomplish and usually never get to, then feel guilty about not doing. *chuckles*

This year is going to be different. I am going to live in the moment. I woke up this morning to a package from my Best Friend Amber. She is the BEST, and by the best, I mean in the world. I am so lucky to have her in my life. This is what was in the package. Of course she had to sneak something in there for Little Miss Averie.

In addition to this wonderful package this morning. I woke up and decided that I wanted to feel good too, so I curled my hair, put some makeup on, and picked something out to wear that I knew would make me feel pretty. I have been living my life just to get to the next moment, and I want to live in the moment from here on out. I am so worried about where I am, and what I need to do to be better off tomorrow. That I often forget to just enjoy where I am. I think we are all guilty of this at some point, and it is a hard habit to break. 29 is the year that I am going to break it. I could be gone tomorrow, would I be able to say that the day that I left this planet was a good one. Did I take advantage of every moment, every milestone, every smile and laugh. I would not be so sure that I could. All that has to change today. I have a little girl that loves me unconditionally, a husband that is always there for me, and a Mother and Father that would give their life to see me happy and successful. What more could a girl ask for? I truly am living a wonderful kind of life. I guess it is time to stop and smell the flowers.

BTW..... I voted yesterday. I was so nervous. Maybe there is something to this voting thing. Maybe I am making a difference. If you are not registered to vote, make sure you do. One person may not make a difference, but together we all can.

Summer time......

p.s. I dislike picasa. There, I said it. I am not a fan. It just is not high tech enough for me. I want to learn new ways of editing my photos. I do not just want to click a button and it fix everything for me. Or so the picasa ghosts think they are fixing everything. The reality is that I have a lot to learn, and maybe, just maybe picasa is okay for a beginner. I have never been the type of person to start with the easy steps first. I am the  throw out the instructions usually and go off of the picture on the box kind of person. I may make things difficult, but that is how I learn.
