Almost settled in...

I guess it might take me a minute to get back into a groove with blogging. Don't get me wrong I love doing it, but getting into a groove may take me a little bit of time. I have already learned that nights are easiest, and well while I am working during the day. However they might not like hearing that. We just won't tell them. Shhhh......

I am currently living in a bit of chaos. We moved about two weeks ago, and the boxes have almost completely disappeared from my dreams. I wake up in the middle of the night wanting to unpack. NO JOKE! I can officially say that we are almost settled in. I had a health issue that kept me home all last week, so in between doctor's appointments I was able to organize and unpack. We are in this place for the long haul, so I didn't hesitate hanging up pictures and making it feel like home.

I started putting up the gallery wall, it looks pretty good so far, I do think it has some minor tweaking in it's future. I ordered the letter "K" to go in that blank spot on the right. After I hang that up I will do a once over to make any minor adjustments. Both of the canvas prints I bought on zulily.com. I love that website. What a great thing to look at as I wake up and walk down the stairs to go to work in the morning, and then to walk up them to go to bed at night. Family and Friends are so important. It is definitely a goal of mine to make sure that they all know that I think of them daily and love them all. I am trying to do little things throughout the year so that they know how much they all mean to me. I had so much fun making this gallery wall would it be cheesy to do another one? *smiles*

Well I am off to bed. It has been a busy weekend and all the unpacking is catching up with me.

Tax Season & a New King Size Bed

Tax season came and went, but we do have a couple of memories. Our new King size Serta Memory Foam bed is one. Ever since we moved, I have been slowly transforming the rooms into what I want them to look like. This room is one step closer. It is expensive to decorate! Progress is going to be gradual but I will get there.

I bought both our bed and mattress on Overstock.com. I really love that website. The bedding I bought at Kohls. It is the Simply Vera Wang brand.  I was not 100% sure about the shimmer in the fabric, but it is growing on me. The throw is from Marshall's. I originally bought it for the guest bedroom, but have found myself stealing it every night. So here it stays. The wall behind the bed is actually a grey-blue color. It looks very blue in the pictures. We have a little more work in the master bedroom. I would like 2 new night stands, one new dresser, and a piece of artwork for over the bed.

I found this on Pinterest and am thinking very seriously about buying it. I think it would look great above my bed. Thoughts?

I am pretty sold on this but would love some suggestions. I am kind of decorating challenged. I need my Best Friend in order to pick anything out. She has a real eye for this kind of stuff. I have not mentioned this, but I am really enjoying blogging again. It is very therapeutic.

Rooms in house left to decorate/complete.

Master bedroom, Averie's room(its done but un-organized), Living room, and both bathrooms. Wow that is the whole house. Guess I should get started. Geese.
