Insta-Friday FUN!!!

I have not done an Insta-Friday in a long time. I think it is overdue, don't you? I noticed that there are a lot of pictures of me. Hmm.... I am not sure how that happened. I will have to fix that next week.

Week in Insta-pics {Organized Mess}

I am a serious slacker these days. Who would have thought that organizing a house would be so hard. I am having to cruise Pinterest to find ideas, and buy all sorts of gadgets to make everything fit. It is fun when I have the time. My nights are pretty consumed with baby feeding, baths, and bedtime stories. Although I do enjoy those times, my organizing has suffered.

The plan for the weekend is Softball. Yes it is that time of the year again where the family is consumed by softball. Luckily I am not tired of watching Anessa play. I look forward to every game where she starts.

This weekend is also my brother's 16th Birthday. So there will be a BBQ on Sunday for him. He is doing something on Saturday too but softball interferes with those plans. He will have to wait to get his gift on Sunday. I sure he can handle the suspense.

In the old house I had a calendar on the cabinet that mapped the month for us. We are so busy individually, that we had to have something to keep us in line. When taking down that "life saver" it ripped. I broke down today and bought a new reusable one. I can see the future now. Things are going to get messy fast with out it. I found it on Amazon, from the Board Dudes. Cool name right.

Averie has a back molar coming in, so I think that explains the weird behavior lately. She is clingy and irritable. I don't mind her being clingy. I rather like it when she wants to be with me ALL THE TIME. So, the status on her teeth is that she has her two bottom front teeth, and the one back molar. It is strange the way they are coming in. I swear that there is a front top one coming in too. But I can not tell for sure.

I am a slacker ya'll. I have been so bad about taking photos. I hope everyone understands. I mean this moving thing has taken a serious toll. 

{Brief rundown, I bought that calendar from Amazon, the cell phone case also Amazon, because mine broke, that cutie is Averie watching Pajanimals, then the pavement and car was 9/6, cereal and coffee all over me and the car. Not a good way to start the day.}

Week in Insta-pics {long week...long weekend}

This week has been long but short. It feels like it has gone very slow, but I can't believe it is Friday. Brian has poker tonight, and I am just going to relax with Averie. I think it is best to relax before the wake of painting hits me. I am actually looking forward to painting. Strange right? I think it is going to be fun. Going to take lots of photos. I will also make time this weekend to post on our Mini-vacation to Santa Cruz. I have been so busy, that putting loading the pictures off is really easy. This is a short one. I am short on everything these days, especially time and patience.

Missing in Action - Weekend Wrap-up

Sorry for going MIA for a few days. It has been crazy lately. I am going to sum up the weekend very quickly for everyone. Averie, Averie, being tired, Averie. That is about the jist of my weekend.

Brian worked all weekend long, so Averie and I hung out around the house pretty much for the whole weekend. I did venture out to take the oldest to the batting cages, and we even hit a garage sale.

This was the best  garage sale ever. The actual garage sale was over by the time we got there, but they had marked everything that was left over free. There happened to be an IKEA loft bed on the lawn. Marked FREE!!!! Can you believe that.

Here it is... Can you believe it. I still can't.

I felt super lucky. Anessa has been looking at a bed like this for about a month. Now it is done and it was FREE!

I missed Friday's week in Insta-pics so here it is a weekend late. The one that says, "nice asses." That is from my wedding 2 years ago. I was packing for out move at the end of the month, and found it at the back of our guest book. I have no idea what possessed me to look in the back of the book, but I did and that is what I found. The Hair ties are a gift from Averie's Nana and Great Grandpa. They are so sweet. I do think that we need to see them more. I am thinking that a small party is in the future, after we move of course. That way everyone knows where we live, and we can see everyone. I think that would be nice.

There SHE goes/Week in Insta-pics

Averie is scheduled for a 7:30am ear tube procedure. I on the other hand an scheduled to be at work at 7:30am. Can anyone say SAHM? I want to be so badly right at the moment. I know that Dad is with her, but I am Mama I want to be with her. I have a great hubby though, he is giving me the play by play as everything happens. I know I complain a lot. I am getting out of work at 11:30 though, so I will be with her after surgery. I am lucky enough to at least be able to be with her today. According to the nurse it is a pretty quick and straight forward procedure. I am sure that have this phrase on auto pilot, "the is nothing to worry about, she will do wonderfully." They have it recorded somewhere I am positive. This whole week has  been leading up to this day and here we are. I wonder what results this surgery will actually bear. I am excited to see if this helps her develop verbally.

Well I will try and keep everyone updated as I find out what is going on. In the mean time. Week in Insta-pics. YAY!

{My Week in Insta-pics are always a mish mash of stuff.}

What we have here is, kale chips and a V8 juice, both very yummy.{see kale chip recipe here}. Black pepper triscuts. I am recommending them, they are delish. Then my outfits Tuesday through today. I have been trying to go back to my goals. One of them was feel better, and looking good always seems to do the trick. Averie giving Mama some love, and her coming to get me. I love that kid. The water bottle is odd, I know. But I have found the perfect water bottle straw. It is a subway straw. I know that is kind of useless, but if you prefer to drink out of straws, then your welcome. The Starbucks cup, self explanatory. Lastly my sock bun, and then a normal bun. I like to wear the sock buns just as a hair do.

Week in Insta-pics {mish mash}

So there are not many but this is my week in a nutshell. I am trying some new recipes from the magazine Good and Easy. There is the array of medicine that both Averie and I are taking. I am pretty sure that it is obvious whose is whose. I made an Italian crock pot chicken. It was ehh. Then there is Brian and his nephew Luke at Nessa's practice. It was 106 degrees outside so they were trying everything they could to stay cool. This weekend Anessa is in portland for a softball tournament. That's right it is just me, Averie, and the hubby all weekend. I can't imagine this being a stressful one. Well here's to hoping that we do something fun this weekend.
