Mini-Vacation

The family took a mini-vacation to Santa Cruz last Wednesday. We stayed for three days,and it was not really a vacation. It was nice to get away for a couple of days. The hotel life is nice sometimes, no bed making, bathroom cleaning, or cooking! Wednesday we all went to the beach, boy oh boy the water was cold, and sand got everywhere. Averie even tried eating it. Yuck! She was not a big fan of the water. Grammy spoils her with the nice 75 degree pool water. That was pretty much all we did on Wednesday. Thursday Brian, Averie, and I took a drive on the coast, and had lunch at this great Burger place. It was called, "burger." Yes. burger (period). Brian had a "Chuck Norris." It gave him a kick. Get it? Hahaha.

Thursday evening we went to the Boardwalk. It was super busy. Not my cup of tea.

Here are some pictures of the trip. Most of them are of Averie. I love to photograph that little girl. They all decided to mess with Luke and turn him into a mermaid. Look at the picture for explanation. Sorry that this post was hanging for so long. I just took the pictures off of my camera this weekend.
